Who is Steven C. Sheppard?

I was born March 16, 1969 to Lane and Jean Sheppard in Alexandria, Virginia. I lived in Virginia until I was six years old. I played tee ball baseball in Virginia and attended Kindergarten. My father was invited to work for Lane Pontiac Auto Dealership in Melbourne, FL around 1976. My family moved from Virginia to Satellite Beach, FL where I lived at a hotel on the beach until we found a rental property. I began to surf avidly. I attended school in Florida, High school in South Carolina and Florida. I graduated 117/441 at Sea World in 1987. I went straight to college on a partial football scholarship.

In college at Tiffin University I was a record holding punter my freshman year in the NAIA Division II. I lettered as a freshman and was Tiffin University’s starting quarterback in 1988 at the spring jamboree.

I did not go back to college for my own personal reasons. The Gulf War broke out with Saddam Hussein in 1990 and I joined the submarine navy following in the history of my own grandfather Hill whom was in the navy during WWII as a photographer.

I was retired from the Navy and I have VA Veteran’s Affairs now.
